Donkey Kong Country Returns HD Video Review

Arguably one of the greatest platformers finally makes its way to the Nintendo Switch. Although the console is packed with stunning 2D adventures, there’s space in everyone’s library for Donkey Kong Country Returns HD.

Donkey Kong Country Returns maintains the originals’ charm while experimenting with innovative designs to deliver an incredible journey through a rich jungle. If you have never played the original that landed on the Wii in 2010, then this is the best way to experience this adventure. However, does the HD version include enough to entice returning players? Check out our video review below to find out.

Donkey Kong Returns HD is available on 16th January, exclusively on the Nintendo Switch and you can read our full review here. Is it time for a new DK game? Would you like to see any other games get ported over to the Switch? Will the Switch successor have as many ports?
